Mike Davis

Mike Davis realized his passion for helping others achieve health and fitness back in 2005. He started his journey by going to school to get his degree in Occupational Studies of Personal Training and first got certified through the American Council on Exercise and started personal training right out of college in late 2006. It was early 2010 when he started to learn about CrossFit (CF). He remembers meeting “Fran” and 14 minutes later was the start of his new obsession. He transitioned his training style to solely fit the model of CrossFit training. He has since received his CF Level 1 certification, worked at Alpine CF and now has joined the CF Jai coaching staff.

Through CrossFit, Mike has realized how his fitness has improved, both inside and outside the gym. He regularly competes in fun races and challenges like a half Ironman, multiple Tough Mudders, Warrior Dash, 5K-1/2 marathon distance races, as well as a variety of CF competitions, and even an Olympic Lifting meet. He even sees his fitness transfer over to his improved mountain and road biking, and on the ski slopes and rock climbing walls.
Mike is a confident trainer with a wealth of knowledge in many topics ranging from nutrition, endurance training, Olympic lifting and many more. He hopes to be seen as a very valuable asset to CrossFit Jai and all of it’s members.
